VINTAGE DISCOVERY : PARCOURS DES ANTIQUAIRES DU XXe
DU 26 AU 30 SEPTEMBRE

Lancé l'année dernière dans le cadre de Designweek 2006, le Vintage Discovery est un parcours libre dans les galeries spécialisées dans le vintage et, plus largement, dans les antiquités d'après la révolution industrielle. Au cœur du Sablon, une quinzaine de spécialistes des arts décoratifs de cette période ouvrent grand leurs portes autour de leurs dernières trouvailles.

元々は心理学教師のための勉強をしていたのだが、20世紀のコレクターアイテムであるファッションとコスチュームジュエリーにとても興味をもった。

彼女は特に1950-80年にかけてのシャネル、ニナリッチ、イブ・サンローランなどのヴィンテージジュエリーや、Georg Jensen, Torun, Hans Hansen, Tapio Wirkkalaといった1960-70年代にスカンジナビアのアーティストや銀細工師が製作したスターリングシルバーのコレクションに惹かれている。

現代のジュエリーデザイナーの卓越したセレクションは、彼女のギャラリーで見つけることができる。

DANIEL VON WEINBERGER

"COLLECTION: LOULOU LA LOUFOQUE"



Daniel Von Weinberger was born in Antwerp, Belgium, on June 1950. From 1965 until 1973 he studied jewellery, fashion and theatre design at the Royal Academy of Art in Antwerpen and Precious Metal Worker, after that he learned enameling at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, followed by a year in sculpture in Antwerp.
He participated in more that 50 exhibitions in Begium, USA, Germany, Japan etc...
He has the reputation of being the most extravagant of the modern jewel designers.

Designers’ Trail
Every two years during the same period and over three consecutive days, the Designers’ Trail invites the public to visit a large number of exhibition spaces to view the work of Brussels fashion designers and fashion brands, grouped around a central information and starting point.
Using a Trail map, the public can make their own way to the many and various locations, visiting them at their own rhythm.
